Agreement to these rules

By submitting a nomination or endorsement, you confirm that you have read these rules and agree to provide information in good faith. If you do not agree, please do not submit personal information through the programme.

Eligibility

Any woman aged 18 or above who lives, works or contributes in Asia may be nominated. The nomination should describe at least two years of meaningful contribution. A formal job title, company ownership or high income is not required.

Good-faith nominations

Nominate her only if you genuinely know her contribution and believe she deserves a place in Asia’s Women’s Who’s Who. False, misleading, abusive or mass-submitted nominations may be declined.

Information and verification

You are responsible for providing information that is accurate, lawful and reasonably current. The secretariat may contact the nominator, nominee or endorsers to verify information, request clarification or administer the process. It may decline, pause or remove a nomination where information cannot be verified or appears misleading.

Self-nomination

Self-nominations are welcome. The nominee must provide two independent endorsers. After submission, the system records each endorsement request and the endorser receives a secure request when email delivery is configured. Endorsements should be completed within seven days.

Assessment

A confidential internal panel applies the published criteria. Panel members declare conflicts and step away where appropriate. Individual panel identities, discussions and scores remain private. The secretariat administers the process but does not decide outcomes.

Decisions and publication

Assessment decisions are made in accordance with the published standard for the relevant cycle. Decisions may be withheld, amended or withdrawn where eligibility, consent, accuracy or process integrity is in question. The secretariat’s administrative determination on completeness and eligibility is final for programme purposes.

A public profile is published only after the nominee’s consent. The secretariat may edit supplied material for length, clarity, translation, accessibility or house style without changing its meaning.

No guarantee of selection

Submitting a nomination, supplying an endorsement or participating in an interview does not guarantee conferment, a listing, a particular category or an invitation to any event. The programme may receive more eligible nominations than it can publish in a cycle.

Fees and recognition

There is no fee to submit a nomination and no fee to receive the Jelita title or public listing. Each honouree receives one invitation to the annual gala. The official recognition does not automatically include a trophy, medal, plaque, gift or promotional package. Any optional commemorative item or promotional arrangement is separate, may involve a fee, is subject to availability and cannot influence a decision.

Publication and timing

Nominations remain open year-round. Conferment and approved Who’s Who listings take place twice a year. An annual gala may celebrate the wider community. A listing is published only with the nominee’s consent.

Use of the website

You must not upload unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, abusive, infringing or malicious material, attempt to disrupt the website, impersonate another person or use the programme to send unsolicited messages. We may suspend access or remove material where necessary to protect people, the programme or the website.

Responsibility and liability

You remain responsible for the information you submit and for obtaining any permission needed to share it. To the extent permitted by law, Global Brand Awards Pte Ltd and Mistermind International (M) Sdn Bhd are not responsible for losses arising from inaccurate information supplied by a participant, third-party services, communications failures, events outside reasonable control or a decision made under the published process. Nothing in these rules excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Programme administration

The secretariat may appoint operations staff, technology providers and professional advisers to support the programme. Those parties act under the secretariat’s instructions and do not acquire judging authority merely by providing operational support.

Materials and permissions

You confirm that you have the right to submit any text, photograph, trademark or other material you provide. You grant the secretariat a limited, non-exclusive permission to store, review, translate, edit and use that material to administer the programme and, with the nominee’s consent, create the approved public listing.

Severability and governing law

If any part of these rules is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. These rules are governed by the laws applicable to the secretariat’s principal administration, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to the person using the website.

Changes and contact

Programme dates, practical procedures and publication details may be updated when necessary. The published assessment standard will be stated before each assessment cycle. Questions should be sent to ask@womenwhoswho.io.
